The See Sicily section is where you can familiarise yourself with all the island has to offer and then start to plan a trip around the places you'd most like to see.
The pages are divided up into categories such as major cities, coastal towns, beach resorts and the Sicilian islands. The best of each category are listed towards the top of each page to help guide you towards the most popular and interesting destinations. You'll also find the best beaches, hill towns, historic towns and archaeological sites in here, emphasising the broad range of sights that Sicily provides with something to suit all tastes. |

So once you've decided which parts of Sicily you'd most like to see, the next job is to work out how to get there. The four categories in Sicily Travel are based around air and sea logistics and we can also provide ground transport from most places.
There are six airports in Sicily, four of which are on the island's mainland with the busiest two being Catania and Palermo. You'll find details about which airlines fly in and out of each airport as well as prices for transfers to every destination on the island. Much of the region needs to be reached by sea and we've provided a page for every ferry route in Sicily including ticket booking. |

Sicily is one of the 20 official regions of Italy and within each region there are provinces. Sicily being one of the largest regions has nine different provinces including the Metropolitan City of Palermo and Ragusa Province for example.
